Alicia is the Rapid Response Coordinator at Equal Ground, where she creates, manages, and implements events on and offline. She also coordinates, leads, and trains volunteers on the voting process. Alicia has worked on various campaigns such as the passing of Amendment 4 and Ban the Box. Prior to joining Equal Ground, Alicia worked in managerial positions at two of Orlando’s prestigious hotels, where she had proven skills in encouraging innovation, building high performing teams, and fostering collaborations across all functional areas. Alicia is adept at realizing consistent improvements in productivity and performance, through effective relationship management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Alicia has lived in Orlando since entering elementary school, and has always had a passion for working and helping her community. She attended University of Florida where she received a Batchelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Alicia still lives in Orlando, FL where she has strong family ties, and remains closely connected to her mother and siblings.
