Shakhea Moore
Field Manager

North Florida to Central Florida

Shakhea Moore, native of Apopka,FL and alumna of the Great Bethune Cookman University, earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. Shakhea’s natural ability to connect with various audiences has allowed her to host and facilitate many events including the 2017 Stellar Awards and the 2020 BET Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in Miami, FL.

After being a radio host for both a local and national platform, Shakhea shifted careers and merged her love for media with politics and began using her degree at the grassroots level. She previously served as the Deputy Communications Director for Florida Rising and held the position as the Public Informations Officer for the duly elected State Attorney Monique Worrell of the Ninth Judicial Circuit.

In addition to her advocacy work, Shakhea holds the office of Co Chair for the Campaign and Candidate Engagement Committee of Delta 4 Women in Action (D4) and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Her activism and political work within Central Florida afforded Shakhea the opportunity to be listed as a "Rising Star" in Florida Politics by INFLUENCE Magazine Class of 2022.

She now serves as the Field Manager and Digital Coordinator for Equal Ground covering parts of Central and North of Florida.

Meet the team.
