Tamel McKinney is a Sanford, FL native who has worked tirelessly over the last two decades
serving her community with nearly a decade of experience working in Florida politics. She recently worked for U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy, FL District 7, as the Seminole County Manager facilitating meetings, training, and peer gatherings with local elected officials, business owners, and
community leaders to build capacity and bridge the gap between the federal government and the local
community.

Throughout her career she has worked on a number of pressing issues working with the Alliance for Retired Americans Union, NextGen Climate(now NextGen America, For our Future Fund, and the NAACP,

 

She's a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and lives by the mantra "helping others to help themselves" and believes it is the only way we will thrive as a human race.
