Official Statement: Orange County Commission Passes Community Centered Redistricting Map

Over the past year the Orange County 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee members met to present the board of county commissioners with two maps that would increase the commission from six members to eight.
On Tuesday, October 14th the county commission met to hear from residents one final time before making their vote. We encouraged residents to support Map 7B. A map created by the community for the community, a map that doesn’t prioritize a specific municipality but is truly reflective of the counties growth and diversity. Orange County residents help us contact the commission.
