Brenda Morrison is a fierce community advocate and public service leader from Broward County, Florida, with a strong record of coalition-building and cross-cultural collaboration to advance inclusive civic and economic outcomes. She has served in legislative roles for former U.S. Senator Bill Nelson and City of Lauderhill Commissioner Melissa P. Dunn, supporting initiatives focused on small business development and addressing racial health disparities.
Brenda has also worked at The Miami Foundation, where she led community engagement and cross-sector collaboration for a $20 million economic development funding program. Recently she served as a Field Organizer for the Harris/Walz Campaign. Her career spans federal, local, and philanthropic spaces, where she has partnered with diverse stakeholders to strengthen civic participation and community trust. In addition to her professional work.
Brenda has held leadership roles within the Urban League movement, including serving as President of the Urban League of Broward County Young Professionals, National Advocacy Chair , National Policy and Procedures Chair, and currently serves as a board member of the Urban League of Broward County.
