Simon Adams serves as Equal Ground’s South Florida Field Manager. Simon comes to Equal Ground as a strategist and organizer with deep experience in civic engagement, grassroots mobilization, and voter protection efforts across Florida and beyond.
Prior to joining Equal Ground, he held leadership roles with organizations like America Votes, the National Urban League, and the Stacey Abrams for Governor campaign, where he helped develop large-scale outreach programs and worked to take the average black and brown household out of their siloes and into a larger universe of disenfranchised communities ready to take a stand and stride towards political empowerment.
Simon’s work is grounded in representation, where access and awareness of pathways to political advocacy are the focal points to bend the arc of our moral universe towards justice. From bridging gaps between institutions and the communities they set out to serve to fighting voter apathy on the frontlines with boots on the ground, he brings a passion for building infrastructure that centers the voices of those most impacted. At Equal Ground, he continues to fight disinformation, challenge voter suppression, and uplift Black-led political power across the state.
Meet the team.
